How to Connect a Wii To a TV With Component Cables?

  1. 5 ports on your TV where component cables should be inserted. Two ports are for Audio {their color is red (right, or R) and white (left, or L)} and three ports are for Video {their color is red (Pr/Cr), blue (Pb/Cb), and green (Y)}
  2. Insert these cables into their respective colors. 
  3. Now, connect the cable on the AV Out port placed at the backside of the Wii
  4. If your TV has Progressive Scan then enabled it
  5. Now, turn on the Wii (find input selection for your TV) and switch it to view input AV. That’s it!

How to Connect a Wii To a TV With HDMI?

Unluckily, the original Wii does not have an HDMI port but it does not that you can not play it on your TV via HDMI inputs. Well, there are a number of adaptors that enable you to connect Wii with HDMI ports which can be done via plugging them directly into the console.
